The State Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Administrative Plan

The purpose of the Administrative Plan is to document, in writing, the process the state will use to administer the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) for major disaster declarations as mandated by 44CFR Part 206.437 The Administrative Plan posted on this website is for disaster declarations FEMA 1674-DR-NE and FEMA 1706-DR-NE. The state is the grantee for HMGP funds and is accountable for the use of the funds. Contained within the Plan is the Application for project funds for the program. In order to be eligible for these funds, you must have a FEMA approved All-Hazards Mitigation Plan. The planning application for requesting these funds is also located in the Administrative Plan.
